The Department of Health approved a third location for Cure Oahu at 70 Kihapai St. in Kailua, according to a news release.
TCG Retro Market 1 started selling cannabis at its new Cure Oahu location on Thursday.
The new medical cannabis location will be Oahu’s 10th dispensary and the state’s 25th dispensary.
As of Dec. 2, 2024, 30,035 in-state patients and 2,609 caregivers were registered in Hawaii, including 14,798 patients and 1,463 caregivers on Oahu.
The most often reported condition for registered adult patients is severe pain. For patients under 18, the primary reported conditions are severe pain, seizures and post-traumatic stress disorder.
“Cure Oahu’s new dispensary in Kailua will provide much-needed access to patients on the windward side of Oahu,” said DOH Dispensary Licensing Supervisor Liam Gimon.
